Nelson Mandela, Winston Churchill, Martin Luther King Jr... are all names we’ve heard of or referred to in our lives when it comes to leadership.
We all know about their great accomplishments but what do we know about the energy they emanated? That very energy which has enabled them to lead the way towards a cause they represented. How did they bring people together?
“Your first and foremost job as a leader is to take charge of your own energy and then help to orchestrate the energy of those around you.” - Peter F. Drucker
When our frequency is rather low, we tend to unconsciously give our power away which results in embodying a victim mindset.
We think that life happens to us despite our actions, we become apathetic and experience self doubt, fear, guilt… and plunge into inaction, losing the ability to lead ourselves or others.
We start taking our power back and entering our ability to lead once we attend to our needs and release the energies keeping us down (limiting beliefs, energetic blocks, repressed emotions, trauma…).
As we process lower frequency energies, accepting to be vulnerable, tending to our own wounds, facing our own fears, we open our mind to possibilities tapping into the energy of courage.
“Courage faces fear and thereby masters it. Cowardice represses fear and is thereby mastered by it.” Martin Luther King
With the energy of courage, we’re no longer stuck with a victim mindset. We start awakening our power to have an impact and lead change. We are no longer self-centred and cultivate meaningful, empowering relationships.
The challenge here will be to draw healthy boundaries allowing ourselves to preserve our own energy and therefore our ability to empower others too.
Through interaction with others, we get to discover the creative gifts we have to offer. We get to challenge our perspectives and learn to embrace our innate talents and those of others.
Collaboration allows us to identify opportunities for growth - both, for ourselves and others. We are productive with a solution focused approach which may lead to overthinking should we not stay attuned to our emotions.
“A good leader can engage in a debate frankly and thoroughly, knowing that at the end he and the other side must be closer, and thus emerge stronger. You don’t have that idea when you are arrogant, superficial and uninformed.” - Nelson Mandela
All leaders that I mentioned above were pursuing a self transcending goal, they were leading beyond themselves. They had found their purpose and decided on the legacy they wanted to leave behind.
To not only generate productivity and happiness but call for extraordinary outcomes, we must be animated by a mission that’s intrinsically motivating our actions and those of others. Knowing what your core values are, what your truth is deep down can only lead to an authentic success should you have the courage to continue facing your fears, accepting who you are, and making space for it.
The more we continue raising our frequency through developing self awareness, cultivating trust and gratitude, the more our intuition will have the ability to guide us on our path.
Allowing ourselves to feel more rather than think as a leader, not only helps us sense the right direction but also drives our success debunking unconscious limiting beliefs accumulated along the way.
In conclusion, to unlock the energy of a leader we must first allow ourselves to be vulnerable, heal our own wounds and face our fears while we connect to what’s truly important to us (find our WHY).
There is no leader without a follower and no follower without a leader so get yourself out there ! Your growth depends on ours and ours on yours.
3 steps to assess your energy as a leader?
1 - Measure your vibration frequency...
A - Having an energy healing session which includes a full energy assessment.
B - Evaluating your emotional state. How are you feeling?
Are you experiencing low vibrational emotional states such as anxiety, despair, tiredness, guilt, shame...? Or are you rather experiencing high vibrational emotional states such as joy, inspiration, peace, serenity...?
C - How does your body look and feel like?
How are you looking? How is your skin? Any aches? Do you look tired?...
2 -Check if you're connected to your purpose?
A - Do your interactions feel significant?
You feel the importance behind each interaction and recognize how significant they are for your journey.
B - What's motivating your actions? Do you feel inspired?
Are you motivated by materialistic possession only?
When you think about your purpose, your first thoughts won't be "how much can I make?" but rather "what impact can I have on this?".
C - When looking back on your past, does it feel like you've been gravitating towards your purpose the whole time? (interests as a child, life experiences...)
3 - Does it flow?
A - Synchronicities and extraordinary outcomes
You feel connected and in tune. Opportunities present themselves to you, and they somehow are exactly what you need, or exactly what you were looking for.
B - Fear and doubts
You fully embrace who you are. Insecurity, worry, self doubt, uncertainty are old patterns. You don't seek for external validation, you've stopped playing small, your fears point you towards the next step and change has become an ally.
